DISNEY'S Alice in Wonderland Junior

Based on the 1951 Disney film "Alice in Wonderland" and the novels "The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass" by Lewis Carroll
ACT is proud to present a main stage MUSICAL production of Alice in Wonderland Jr!  

Join Alice's madcap adventures in Wonderland as she chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles,
raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game! Roles are plentiful, including three Cheshire
Cats and dozens of other wonderfully wacky characters. This fast-paced stage adaptation of Alice in Wonderland features updated
dialogue and new arrangements of such classic Disney songs as “I'm Late,” The Un-birthday Song” and “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.”

This production will be cast by audition only, and as with all of our classes, there is a tuition to participate.

Tuition:  $210 (The tuition and costume usage fee will be due on December 17th at our first meeting.)

    Thursday, December 10:  5:00-8:00 PM
    Friday, December 11: 5:00-8:00 PM


Audition Process:
    1.  Contact ACT for an audition time (aoct@comcast.net or 282.9101).  
            Please include student's name, age, gender, parent's email and parent's phone number.

    2.  Complete audition form for your gender.

    4.  Audition Requirements:
  • Singing:  Prepare 10-12 bars of a prepared song.  This will need to be sung a capella or with a karaoke CD.  
  • Acting: Prepare a 1 minute monologue.  
  • Dancing:  Students will be taught a short dance combination at the audition.

5.  Bring your completed audition form, your parent consent form, and A RECENT PHOTO of you to your audition.  

    6.  Call backs will be held on December 12 (Saturday) from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM.  

    7.  The show will be cast by December 16th.  All actors will receive an email announcing if they were cast or not.  

    8.  Those who are cast will need to attend an initial meeting on December 17th where they will get their script, rehearsal CD,
    get measured for costumes and MORE!


Rehearsals:  All rehearsals (except dress rehearsals) will be held at Sunrise Church, Suite 200.  
    Regular rehearsals begin JANUARY 9, 2010

    Mondays:  6:15-8:15 PM
    Wednesdays:  6:15-8:15PM

    *There are no rehearsals over Spring Break (March 22-26).

       NOTE: There are also THREE non-"regular", important rehearsals as well:  
  • December 17, Thursday: 6:00-8:00 PM
  • January 9, Saturday:  9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • April 21, Wednesday: 4:00-8:00 PM
